MODIFICATION MANAGER

Responsible for leading a team of Modification Project Engineers within the Engineering & Facilities Division to plan, manage, and deliver equipment-related projects that support asset replacement, capacity growth, operational efficiency, and sustainability objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage equipment project units under Asset Services, Improvement & Upgrade (AIU), New Asset Replacement & Capacity (NARC), and Asset Technical, Innovation & Technology Concept (AITC).
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee the execution of equipment projects including procurement, replacement, refurbishment, and capacity upgrades ensuring alignment with PTPs operational needs, budgets, and strategic objectives.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects and provide leadership and support to Modification Project Engineers.
• Manage project financials including budgeting, cost control, monitoring progress, and ensuring compliance with contractual, scope, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Engage and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safe, timely, and within-scope delivery of projects.
• Develop business cases, tender documents, and prepare submissions for Tender Committee as required.
• Evaluate and process contractor claims, including milestone payments, extension of time requests, and variation orders.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards, local authority requirements, and internal documentation processes at all times.
• Drive implementation of technology upgrades, sustainability initiatives, efficiency improvements, and innovation projects.
• Develop, monitor, and manage KPIs related to project performance, financial outcomes, and safety ensuring continuous improvement and accountability.
• Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs) related to modification projects ensuring adherence through Process Confirmation and Safety Gemba.
