Role Overview
The Senior Logistics Executive will lead inventory management and logistics operations for a FMCG environment, ensuring accurate records, efficient 3PL coordination, and continuous improvement of processes.
Responsibilities
- 1) Responsible to lead on the inventory management and administrative tasks for ensuring inventory records integrity in line with the agreed SOPs and organizational / inventory policy.
- 2) Assist Logistics Manager on the overall management of 3PL warehouse operations including value‑added activities, inventory, inbound & outbound operation activities for finished goods in line with agreed SOPs.
- 3) To assist, execute or lead inventory management related projects or initiatives.
Provide general administration and clerical support.
4) Oversee daily distribution center activities, including movement of inventory, electronic documentation, problem solving and physical inventory to ensure all inventory is properly accounted for at all times.5) Perform daily reconciliation for inbound and outbound transactions for finished goods, ensuring timely and accurate updates in ERP and WMS; identify reasons for unmatched transactions and coordinate corrections with relevant departments and 3PLs.6) Perform an Inventory Health Check Report daily, covering all System Storage Locations within logistics areas to ensure all stocks are located correctly.7) Control inventory accuracy through timely transaction record keeping and frequent physical stock counts.8) Lead and ensure 3PLs follow all procedures for inbound and outbound activities, including proper inspection, timely documentation, correct storage, and retrieval of items.9) Assist Logistics Manager on stock count activity for MEGA‑FG Warehouse, Overflow warehouse and Depots : prepare yearly stock count planning, determine cut‑off dates, coordinate headcount and resources, prepare methodologies, ensure 3PL updates, perform reconciliation and provide validation reports.10) Lead 3PL team on managing aging, LOFO and damaged stocks.11) Provide reports on inventory matters such as transaction matching, storage location matching, stock in transit, sales and transfer order status, inventory aging, stock count summary, reconciliation, and other required reports.12) Identify issues related to inventory transactions in day‑to‑day operations and work closely with relevant departments and 3PLs to find solutions for troubleshooting and implementing action plans.13) Identify day‑to‑day operational process improvement opportunities to increase inventory accuracy and improve overall logistics effectiveness.14) Perform administrative and office support activities.15) Lead efforts in identifying opportunities to further optimize business processes, controls, cost reductions, or improvements in work accuracy.16) Liaise with pertinent parties including Sales, IT, Planning, Export Markets, ASRS, and 3PLs.17) Assist in creating, implementing, and managing effective warehousing policies, procedures, and systems.18) Motivate, guide, and coordinate subordinates to work effectively and lead individual staff in carrying out job responsibilities as a strong team member.19) Coordinate and follow up on all ISO and PEFC related matters.20) Perform administrative and office support activities; other duties as assigned.Qualifications
At least 2 years’ experience in FMCG warehousing and inventory management.Have at least 4 years cumulative experience working in warehousing or logistics environments.Diploma / Degree in Logistics Management, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.Preferably from a fast‑moving consumer goods industry.Must have experience in managing and liaising with 3PLs.Well‑versed with inventory management concepts or thinking.Working knowledge of integrated ERP / MPR / WMS systems, especially Oracle.Seniority Level
