Join us as an Assistant Manager, Systems Engineering and lead our infrastructure and DevOps operations. Oversee networks, systems, and cloud environments to ensure performance, security, and scalability, while guiding a skilled team toward operational excellence.
DevOps & Infrastructure Management
- Lead DevOps initiatives covering CI / CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and environment reliability across staging, UAT, and production
- Ensure high availability, disaster recovery readiness, and scalability of cloud and on-premise systems
- Optimise infrastructure performance, cost efficiency, and compliance with data governance frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, SOC2)
Network & IT Operations
Manage internal network systems, firewalls, VPNs, and access controlsOversee IT support operations, ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity issuesMaintain accurate documentation for network topology, device inventory, and access management logsOffice Workspace & Asset Management
Supervise office workspace allocation, IT asset lifecycle, and hardware procurementCoordinate with HR and Admin to ensure efficient onboarding and workstation setupUphold safety, ergonomic, and facility management standardsSecurity & Compliance
Implement and enforce IT security protocols and compliance frameworksMonitor potential threats and apply proactive risk mitigation measuresConduct periodic audits on system access, configuration, and security controlsLeadership & Strategic Planning
Mentor and guide the Systems Engineering team to deliver high operational standardsDevelop SOPs, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement initiativesReport system metrics, incidents, and recommendations to senior managementRequirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fieldMinimum 5 years of experience in IT operations, DevOps, or infrastructure management, including 2 years in leadershipStrong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and CI / CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)Proficient in network administration, VPN configuration, and firewall managementFamiliar with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible)Experienced with monitoring tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK) and system automationKnowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR) is an added advantageStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with a collaborative mindsetOrganised, analytical, and committed to driving high system performance and reliabilityRelevant certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or similar are a plusBenefits
