GL Accountant

GL Accountant

As a GL Accountant, you will need to ensure accurate accounting for all transactions booked in the location’s books. You will report directly to the General Ledger Accounting Manager, Asia Pacific.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare applicable VAT, tax and other statutory returns including annual accounts
• Manage the analysis of accounts according to business requirements
• Handle month end closing journals
• Work independently on improving efficiencies and streamlining finance process flow
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial policies and statutory requirements
• Account reconciliations following corporate guidelines
• Prepare books in US and local GAAP
• Other ad‑hoc requests as required
