Job descriptionBasic knowledge of design processes, prototyping, and materials. Proficiency in design software (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar). Strong creativity with an eye for detail and functionality. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Familiarity with 3D printing, model making, or rapid prototyping. Knowledge of ergonomics, usability, or user-centered design. Interest in sportswear, lifestyle products, or consumer goods design. Basic understanding of branding and product positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in researching market trends, consumer needs, and competitor products.
- Support the team in brainstorming and developing new product concepts.
- Create sketches, CAD models, and prototypes using design software.
- Prepare mood boards, technical drawings, and design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineers and production teams to ensure feasibility of designs.
- Participate in testing and evaluating prototypes to recommend improvements.
- Help with documentation, presentation materials, and design archives.
- Contribute creative input during team discussions and design reviews.
