Department : Administration Location : Malaysia Department : Administration Location : Malaysia Job Description 1. Space Planning and Management : - Assess and plan the optimal utilization of office space, office relocations and reconfigurations as needed.
2. Maintenance and Repairs : - Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program for equipment and facilities.- Coordinate repairs and maintenance activities to ensure a safe and functional working environment.
3. Health and Safety Compliance, Security Management- Ensure compliance with health, safety and Security regulations and standards.
4. Vendor Management : - Coordinate and supervise external service providers, contractors, and vendors.
5. Budgeting and Cost Control : - Develop and manage budgets for facility-related expenses.- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies.
6. Emergency Preparedness : - Coordinate emergency drills and training for staff.
7. Regulatory Compliance : - Stay informed about relevant local, state, and federal regulations affecting facilities.- Ensure compliance with building codes and other relevant standards.
8. Space Design and Renovation : - Plan and oversee office space design and renovation projects.- Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Job Requirements 1. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in office and facilities management
2. Preferably with experience in health and safety initiatives
3. Comfortable in a fast-paced working environment and with the ability to multi-task.
4. Must be extremely hands-on and not afraid to get hands dirty
5. Strong in communication skills
6. Having a qualification as an Occupational Safety and Health Coordinator (OSH-C) is considered an added advantage.
