- Assess residents' dietary needs and develop personalized nutrition plans tailored to health conditions (e.g., diabetes, hypertension, dementia-friendly diets).
- Monitor nutritional intake and provide guidance to residents and families on healthy eating practices.
- Conduct regular workshops or talks on nutrition, healthy cooking, and lifestyle habits.
Menu Development & Culinary Support
Collaborate with the culinary team to design balanced, appealing, and culturally diverse menus (Asian & Western mix) that meet nutritional requirements.Create seasonal and theme-based menus that encourage variety and enjoyment.Ensure menus align with Sukha's philosophy of healthy yet indulgent dining for seniors.Support kitchen staff in food preparation methods that preserve nutrients and enhance taste.Innovate recipes that are easy to chew, digest, and senior-friendly while retaining flavor.Food Safety & Quality
Oversee adherence to food safety and hygiene standards in meal preparation.Audit portioning, plating, and service to ensure consistency and quality.Collaborate with procurement on sourcing fresh, sustainable, and high-quality ingredients.Cross-Functional Engagement
Work closely with caregivers, doctors, and therapists to align dietary needs with medical and wellness programs.Provide training and guidance to kitchen staff on senior-friendly cooking techniques.Participate in Sukha's wellness programs and contribute to marketing (e.g., blog posts, workshops, events).
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition, Dietetics, or related field (Master's preferred).
Certification or license as a Nutritionist / Dietitian in Malaysia.Minimum 3–5 years of experience in nutrition planning, with at least 2 years in a healthcare, hospitality, or senior-living environment.Hands-on experience incooking, menu planning, and recipe creation
is essential.
