Responsibilities
- Assist Channel Head - Direct Sales to lead and manage the Lead Qualification Team with high importance placed on identifying and generating quality qualified leads, either from new business customers, or reactivating inactive customers from our Multi Channel Segment
- Plan, organize, and direct an efficient and effective Telemarketing department to achieve targeted sales, revenues and yields (profitability)
- Analyse, plan and implement appropriate sales initiatives in order to ensure achievement of sales target (revenue and shipments) and yields from the telemarketing team consistent with long and short term market share vision
- Lead and drive customer satisfaction by providing best in class standards with a view towards establishing and maintaining a competitive advantage
- Ensure that all pertinent information of each Suspect, Prospect and Multi Channel customer (e.g. corporate details, contact persons, activity codes etc) is being updated promptly and accurately into sales automation system
- Collate data and compile market intelligence data in order to evaluate and develop solutions to meet the shipping needs of Telemarketing customers
- Handle escalations from within the team in a professional and effective manner
- Actively train and coach team members to develop a superior telemarketing technique and style
- Develop a culture of quality, service excellence (for internal customers), flexibility and cost consciousness
- Identify training needs and career development opportunities to drive a high performance team
- Develop KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
Qualifications
6 years’ relevant experience with 2 years in managerial role, preferably in logistics / transportation industry or multinational companiesExperience in building a sales teamDegree in Business Administration or related disciplinesOur Offer
