Responsibilities
- Partner with teams across Finance, Product, Marketing, and Ops to gather, define, and prioritize reporting and analytics needs.
- Design and develop robust, scalable dashboards and reports that serve as single sources of truth.
- Own and maintain core KPI definitions, ensuring consistency across teams and tools.
- Write high-quality SQL queries to transform and extract data from the data warehouse.
- Identify patterns, opportunities, and anomalies in data, and translate them into business recommendations.
- Document metric logic, dashboard usage guidelines, and underlying assumptions.
- Support ad hoc deep dives, analyses, and presentations for leadership teams.
- Design data mart model layers that serve the purpose of different use cases.
- Collaborate with the Data Team to validate data, discrepancies, and propose improvements in data.
- Promote and support self-serve analytics adoption across the organization.
- Lead initiatives to improve visibility into business performance and user behavior.
Requirements
4+ years of experience in BI, Analytics, or Data Strategy roles.Advanced SQL skills for querying and manipulating large datasets from cloud DWHs (e.g., Redshift, BigQuery).Strong experience building KPI dashboards and self-serve reports using BI tools (Holistics, Power BI, Tableau, or Metabase).Solid understanding of key business fundamentals (e.g., revenue, retention, CAC, LTV, CPA, GP etc.) and how they differ across departments.Ability to interpret results, not just present them to help drive decisions through insight and recommendation.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.Strong attention to detail, with a proactive mindset for identifying root causes and inconsistencies in data.Nice to Have
Experience with dbt, Redshift data modeling, or defining Gold Layer marts.Experience in Personal finance - Insurance or banking sectors.Familiarity with descriptive statistics, cohort analysis, A / B testing, or simple predictive techniques.Experience supporting teams like Finance, Product, Marketing, with understanding of their KPIs and decision workflows.Finance, accounting and FP&A (Financial Planning and Analysis) backgroundAbility to manage and prioritize multiple cross-functional reporting initiatives simultaneously.Culture & Values
