What You Will Do
- Provide static equipment technical services to operating units, manufacturing plants, capital projects and R&D organizations.
- Manage work independently while applying basic technical principles of static equipment.
- Partner with senior engineers on technical direction for complex scenarios requiring high technical and business integration.
- Work effectively with partners and contractors on project efforts, including vendor meetings and industry associations.
- Support project development from concept selection through commissioning, operation, and decommissioning.
- Develop and deliver cost‑effective technical support for routine problems within the discipline.
- Apply new technologies to complex problems encountered in capital projects and operating facilities.
- Document work to enable efficient future efforts and identify opportunities to improve processes.
- Provide technical mentorship to early‑career professionals.
- Participate in internal networks for skill enhancement and knowledge dissemination.
Skills and Qualifications
Degree in Mechanical Engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas, refining, petrochemical, LNG, or related industries.Broad knowledge of static equipment design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria including ASME code and API series.Knowledge of mechanical properties and degradation mechanisms for common construction materials.Experience in pressure vessels, process columns, reactors, and heat exchangers.Proficiency with vessel, heat exchanger, and storage tank analysis programs (PV Elite, Compress, Tank, AME Tank, etc.).Familiarity with pressure equipment rerate and repair assessments per API 510 and NBIC.Onshore and offshore facilities design and onsite work experience.Experience with layout model reviews, HAZID, design reviews, risk assessments, HAZOPs, vendor qualification, and bid evaluations.Strong organizational, management, and technical judgment skills.Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and changing priorities.Strong leadership, influencing, and interpersonal skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Your Benefits
