Senior System Administrator
Overview
Our client is looking for a Senior System Administrator to support a rapidly expanding Digital Marketing and IT consultancy company based in Kuala Lumpur.
Responsibilities
- Managing software / OS licensing, updates, and patching
- Improve the current servers / infrastructures' availability, response time, and scalability
- Implement ways to deal with web attacks and security issues like DDOS attacks and penetration
- Plan and execute disaster recovery activities
- Monitor and optimize network and systems performance
- Identity and access management
Qualifications
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or relevant fieldAt least 3 years of related work experience in administration of Linux systemsFamiliar with Linux commands; certification in Linux Server will be an added advantage (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux or Oracle Enterprise Linux)Knowledge and experience in managing MySQL database server (replication, read / write splitting and clustering, offsite backup)Experience with scripting and automation toolsStrong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocolsCurious-minded, proactive and willing to learn new technologyInterested candidates are invited to send in your Resume in MS Word Formatstating your past work experience, reasons for each leave, past and expected remuneration.We regret to inform that only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
