Lead Principal Engineer Process Integration

Job Description

In your new role you will :

• Take technical lead role in GaN technology and process development / integration to realize Infineon’s GaN technology roadmap.
• Define new GaN devices and technology architectures based on customer and company needs.
• Establish new GaN technology device, design rules, and test methodologies.
• Conduct DOEs on GaN wafers to maximize device and process performance with good reliability.
• Lead and own technical process / device problem solving creatively, and create process and device IP for GaN tech development.
• Support the growth of Infineon’s patent portfolio by screening ideas for patentability.
• Develop methodologies for continuous process / device improvements.
• Build competence within the development team by leading towards deep device understanding supported by simulation methods.
• Support GaN production ramp activities through analysis and problem solving on critical topics.
• Establish collaboration with universities and research institutions (especially in Japan) to support GaN tech development.
