Core Responsibilities
- Foster a healthy relationship with branch staff and Branch Manager to generate referrals.
- Focus on walk‑in customers and utilize the bank’s database to cross‑sell bancassurance products.
- Pro‑actively communicate with branch staff about the products and services offered.
- Serve as a member of the branch team and work with the Relationship Manager to increase insurance sales penetration to PB / AP clients.
- Travel to meet clients and present products.
- Obtain business resources from referrals and leads.
- Perform the entire sales process, including after‑sales servicing.
- Establish and strengthen customer relationships.
- Meet sales targets set by the Bank.
- Maintain good rapport / relationships with customers and branch staff to ensure effective liaison, coordination and operational efficiency.
- Achieve the target percentage of successful closures as defined by the Business.
- Conduct fact‑find and insurance need analysis for clients and provide prompt advice and solutions.
- Collaborate as a team to generate ideas and action plans for increasing insurance product activity and sales.
- Possess in‑depth knowledge of the Bank’s products, including features, benefits, promotional campaigns and procedures.
- Provide personal financial advisory services to prospective customers.
- Maintain required persistency and cooling‑off ratios.
Customer Management
Ensure customer enquiries are promptly attended to within the defined TAT.Conduct systematic reviews for existing policyholders.Provide regular feedback on market developments and evolving customer needs.Compliance
Comply with all applicable money‑laundering prevention procedures and report suspicious activity to the Transaction Monitoring Unit.Ensure compliance with all regulations and controls set by the Bank and external regulatory authorities.Ensure proper sales compliance and prevent mis‑selling.Fulfill CPE hours for licence renewal.Skills
Sales‑oriented with a positive mindset and strong teamwork ability.Self‑motivated and results‑driven.Energetic, independent and mobile; preferably owning transport.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; multilingual capability.Willingness to work beyond normal office hours and weekends.Strong self‑motivation and independent working style.Knowledge
Knowledge of insurance products.Possession of insurance certificates such as PCE (A, B and C) and / or CEILI License is an added advantage.Experience
