Job Purpose
The Senior Office Automation & Technical Support Specialist will lead digital transformation initiatives by automating office workflows, integrating enterprise systems, and providing advanced technical support across the organization. This role requires a blend of IT expertise, process optimization, and hands-on experience with Microsoft, Atlassian, and automation platforms. The incumbent will play a key role in driving technology adoption, ensuring seamless operations, and enhancing overall productivity through smart automation and efficient system management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of automation solutions using Microsoft Power Automate , SharePoint , Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) , and other equivalent platforms.
- Streamline repetitive administrative processes to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors.
- Collaborate with business units to understand pain points and recommend digitization strategies.
- Provide Tier 2 / Tier 3 technical support for hardware, software, Microsoft 365, D365, and enterprise systems.
- Monitor IT infrastructure health, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve escalated issues promptly.
- Ensure minimal downtime and deliver proactive support for critical business systems.
- Administer enterprise tools such as Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, and automation software.
- Manage user access, security permissions, and compliance with IT policies.
- Support integrations efforts between automation workflows and core business systems.
- Conduct training sessions for employees on new automation tools and digital best practices.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, FAQs, and documentation for technical processes and automated workflows.
- Work closely with IT, HR, Finance, and other departments to align technology initiatives with business goals.
- Analyze recurring support requests and identify areas for proactive automation to reduce repetitive tasks.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies in automation, artificial intelligence (AI), and IT support tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in IT support, automation, or process optimization roles.Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 tools, Power Automate, scripting (e.g., PowerShell), and service desk platforms.Experience with workflow automation and ITIL best practices is a plus.Hands-on experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, etc.) and Dynamics 365 (D365) .Key Skills
