Job descriptionConduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, water, tyres, lights, brakes, etc.). Keep the vehicle clean, both interior and exterior, at all times. Report any mechanical issues or damages immediately to the supervisor. Schedule and ensure regular servicing and maintenance of the vehicle. Observe all traffic laws and road safety regulations. Ensure all passengers wear seat belts and comply with safety procedures. Maintain updated road tax, insurance, and relevant permits. Maintain a logbook of daily trips, mileage, and fuel consumption. Support logistics tasks such as loading and unloading materials when needed. Assist in errands or deliveries for official purposes.
Job Summary :
The Van Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of staff and customers, or goods as assigned by the organisation. The role includes maintaining the vehicle in good condition, ensuring compliance with traffic rules, and providing courteous service to all passengers and stakeholders.
