Staff Nurse - Nursery

Sunway Medical Centre Velocity is hiring compassionate Nurses for our Nursery team. Join us in providing quality care to newborns and their families. Full-time position in Kuala Lumpur. Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care to Level 1 and Level 2 neonates in accordance with clinical protocols and consultant plans. Recognize early signs of neonatal distress and perform emergency interventions, including neonatal resuscitation when necessary. Support and educate parents in newborn care, including breastfeeding guidance and discharge preparation. Carry out nursing duties in compliance with established standards, policies, and procedures to ensure quality care. Ensure a safe care environment by identifying potential risks and taking appropriate preventive actions. Monitor, record, and report neonates’ vital signs and condition changes accurately to maintain comprehensive medical documentation. Qualifications and Requirements

A Diploma / Degree in Nursing or an equivalent qualification 1 year of clinical / nursing experience in related fields Current registration and valid practising certificate with the Malaysian Nursing Board Care of newborn Breast feeding support Good interpersonal & communication skills A compassionate and patient-centred approach to nursing care Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team
