Workday Extend Lead Developer

Job Summary :

We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Workday Extend Developer to join our dynamic HRIS / IT team. This role will focus on developing customized applications using the Workday Extend platform, helping to extend the native capabilities of Workday to meet unique organizational needs.

As a Workday Extend Developer, you will play a key role in shaping business-critical applications by leveraging Workday's developer tools and frameworks. You will work closely with HR, Finance, IT, and other cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high-quality, scalable, and maintainable solutions within the Workday ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

Design, build, and deploy Workday Extend applications tailored to business needs.

• Develop reusable, modular components following Workday best practices and security standards.

Collaboration & Requirements Gathering :

Engage with business stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze functional and technical requirements.

Integration & Connectivity :

Integrate Workday Extend applications with other Workday modules and external systems via Workday Web Services (SOAP / REST APIs).

Testing & Deployment :

Conduct thorough unit testing and participate in system and user acceptance testing.

Monitoring & Support :

Monitor application performance and provide ongoing support, enhancements, and bug fixes.

Continuous Improvement :

Stay current with Workday's latest features, updates, and Extend capabilities.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum 7–10 years of hands-on experience with Workday, including :

Workday Extend application development
