Responsible for managing and optimizing the company’s Salesforce CRM system, ensuring reliable performance, user support, and data-driven insights to enhance business operations and decision-making.
This Malaysia-based position requires the successful candidate to work according to Australia (Sydney) business hours to support cross-regional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Be an expert in Salesforce domain to administer and maintain the Salesforce CRM system, including data security, custom objects, flows, and automations to ensure efficient day-to-day system performance.
- Responsible for business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping, customer journeys), prototyping, configuration, testing, training, defining support procedures.
- Configure and implement integration with Salesforce Core and Marketing Cloud.
- Conduct regular reviews, audits, and performance checks on the CRM platform to uphold data integrity, system stability, and user compliance across departments.
- Perform data imports, exports, backups and cleansing to maintain high-quality data standards.
- Support onboarding by training new users on Salesforce functionalities, best practices, and data entry standards. Develop concise user guides and deliver refresher sessions when needed.
- Build and customize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning (e.g., LWC).
- Create and modify controllers, triggers, and extensions.
- Develop interactive UIs using Visualforce, JavaScript, jQuery.
- Integrate Salesforce with other internal or third‑party systems via SOAP / REST, JSON / XML.
- Hands on design and development of custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and other Salesforce technologies.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to support business insights and strategic decision-making. Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce reporting tools for presentation to senior management.
- Explore and apply AI tools or Salesforce-native automation (e.g., Einstein, Flow, Process Builder) to enhance workflows, reduce manual processes, and improve CRM efficiency.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field.Skills & Abilities
Preferred to have experience with PowerBI – ability to create and edit PowerBI dashboards and embed PowerBI into Salesforce system (alternatively if no PowerBI experience, then as a minimum need experience with interactive dashboard systems).Preferred experience with Salesforce integration with SAP system.Experience with SF automation tools like flows, process builder and workflow rules.Experience with Sales Cloud and Service Cloud modules.Familiarity with REST / SOAP APIs, JSON, XML.Front-end skills : JavaScript, jQuery, Lightning frameworks.Proficient in Salesforce platform development : Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, unit testing.Experience in Data Modelling and Management, API development and External Services Integration.Experience in performing Salesforce upgrades and ensuring successful integration.Exceptional ability to create and maintain Salesforce databases.Expected Minimum Years of Experience
3 - 5 years of experience as a Salesforce consultant (Salesforce experience is highly preferred, alternatively if no Salesforce experience, then as a minimum need experience with CRM systems).Seniority level
