Overview

Store Sales Supervisor (Maru) at Bison Consolidated Berhad

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking and processing orders, and addressing concerns.
  • Follow SOPs for customer interaction and service to ensure a consistent and high-quality experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally, adhering to company guidelines.
  • Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages according to HQ recipes and SOPs; ensure that drinks and food items meet quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper operation of beverage preparation equipment, such as espresso machines and blenders.
  • Ensure outlet has sufficient manpower by managing the outlet timetable and monitoring staff attendance; supervise and support crew during shifts, providing training and guidance; monitor junior performance.
  • Oversee daily café operations, including opening and closing procedures, following company SOPs; manage cash transactions and assist with cash management tasks with the Store Manager.
  • Conduct daily stock takes, reconcile counts with inventory records, manage inventory control, order and restock supplies, and ensure equipment is in good condition; avoid over-ordering and expiration of goods.
  • Report operational issues to the Store Manager and collaborate on solutions; document and communicate equipment malfunctions or supply shortages.
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and sanitation standards; conduct maintenance checks and maintain accurate records related to inventory, sales, and hours.
  • The Management reserves the right to adjust the job description as deemed necessary and to assign ad hoc tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • Experience : Minimum of 2–3 years in a café or food service environment, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or senior role.
  • Skills : Proficient in following SOPs and guidelines for beverage and food preparation, with strong leadership, customer service, and communication skills. Experience in inventory management and stocktaking is essential.
  • Education : High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in food handling, barista skills, or hospitality management is a plus.
  • Attributes : Friendly, approachable, able to handle high-pressure situations, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Spoken Language : Malay, English
