Responsibilities
- Identify, qualify, and engage new customers within your assigned region, with a focus on mid-to-large manufacturers and suppliers.
- Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities across sectors such as EV / automotive, power generation, motors, and transformers.
- Engage with technical stakeholders (design, engineering, procurement) to position product solutions that meet performance and compliance needs.
- Translate customer requirements (e.g., thermal rating, insulation type, conductor material) into clear proposals.
- Collaborate with internal R&D, operations, and logistics teams to align solutions and delivery with customer expectations.
- Manage contract negotiations and pricing within defined commercial guidelines.
- Monitor regional market trends and competitor activity to identify emerging opportunities.
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual new business revenue targets.
- Accurately maintain CRM data and provide regular forecasting updates.
Qualifications
3–7+ years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in magnet wire, electrical components, or materials for motors, transformers, or EV powertrains .Proven ability to hunt, develop, and close new customer accounts.Technical knowledge of magnet wire and related products (copper / aluminum conductors, insulation types, thermal performance, etc.).Comfortable engaging with engineers, designers, and procurement professionals.Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage a regional sales strategy.Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and modern sales tools.Willingness to travel within assigned territory (approx. 30–50%).Seniority level
