The Senior Demand and Supply Planning Analyst is responsible for spares part demand, supply and inventory planning, master data governance and process improvement for the overall service supply chain. This role has direct responsibility for spares parts management globally to support Customer Care meeting SLA, while improving cost, supply continuity and inventory optimization.

This position reports to the Director Instruments Operations Planning and is part of Global Instrument Operation located in Penang, Malaysia and will be remote. This position is under Cepheid Operating Company and part of Pall Malaysia.

In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To

Be responsible for the process of service parts demand and supply planning, including inventory control, DC and distribution planning, ensuring processes function effectively to avoid delays and stockouts

Be responsible for inventory turnover, excess & obsolete, and accuracy for all global service warehouses

Develop spares demand / supply plans that consider demand forecast, inventory targets and on-time delivery

Identify and maintain appropriate planning parameters in spares planning systems to optimize inventory, service level and P&L

Maintain effective lines of communication between Customer Care, Logistics, Order Management and Procurement to ensure priority requirements and timely delivery of spares parts

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of related work experience OR Master’s degree with 6+ years OR Doctoral degree with 3+ years

Specialized depth of expertise in spares planning and aftermarket management

Leads others to solve complex problems; uses analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions

Ability to communicate difficult concepts and negotiate to adopt a different point of view

Interprets business challenges and recommends best practices to improve processes

Nice to Have

Experience with spares part planning software such as Baxter, PTC, and SAP / ERP

Medical device experience is preferred

Database management and SQL knowledge
