Test Technician

Job Description

Complete performing test plan and shipment preparation to meet the time deadline.

Perform power on, software installation, IO Check, motion tuning, vision hardware verification, machine setup, sequence test run, STD plan and routine by following the test plan as well as troubleshooting the test errors with seniors and engineers.

Responsible for preparing the machine for shipment by following work instructions.

Follow oral / written instructions provided by the senior technician, team leader, supervisor and / or engineering to complete test tasks.

Liaise with the assembly team to ensure machines are ready for testing and troubleshoot integration tasks if any.

Ensure test materials are free of visible defects before performing testing.

Check work after completion of each operation in job and / or completed job to ensure test according to test plan.

Perform On Site Customer support assigned by the Superior or the management.

Perform 5S on a daily basis at the test bay (start and before end of shift).

Other duties and assignments as instructed by superiors from time to time.

To comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management) and to adhere to general safety practices, standard operating procedure, work instructions, policies and guidelines provided by the company.

Job Requirements

• At least a Certificate in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic), Engineering (Mechanical), Engineering (Mechatronic / Electromechanical).
• Preferably 2-5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
