Resident Architect (Based at KLIA Sepang)
Act as the architectural representative on-site, ensuring all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and the Architect Consultant’s design intent.
Monitor site progress, workmanship, and material quality to meet project and statutory requirements.
Verify compliance with UBBL, BOMBA, and all statutory compliance obligations as per Employer Requirement (ER).
Oversee and inspect architectural detailing including finishes, fire rated elements, cladding, ceiling and joinery works.
Attend inspections by statutory authorities and assist in addressing compliance issues.
Responsibilities

Coordination & Technical Support
Liaise with the appointed Architect Consultant to address and resolve design-related queries from contractors.Coordinate architectural interfaces with M&E, structural and other trades to avoid conflicts during construction.Attend site meetings, technical reviews and conduct regular site inspections (including review RFWI) to provide architectural input and guidance.Review contractors’ shop drawings, method statements and material submissions before forwarding to the Architect Consultant for formal approval.Client & Stakeholder Engagement
Act as the day-to-day contact point for the client, consultants, and contractors on architectural matters.Provide clear technical advice and explanations to stakeholders to maintain alignment with project objectives. Represent the architectural discipline in progress, coordination, and inspection meetings as directed by the Principal Architect or Project Manager.Documentation & Support
Assist in reviewing change orders / variation orders relating to architectural works.Support the project manager in contractual and technical matters relating to architecture.Maintain architectural site records, site diary, material tracking log, and photographic evidence of architectural work.Verify contractor claims and progress reports against on-site works completed.Contribute to monthly reports confirming architectural compliance in line with contract requirements.Identify non-conformities, issue instructions for corrective actions and follow up until closure.Ensure all as-built drawings and documentation are reviewed, updated and submitted on time.Qualification & Experience
Part II Architect registered with LAM (Board of Architects Malaysia) is a added advantageMinimum 10 years’ experience in architectural site supervision, design detailing, and reinstatement works in public / transport infrastructure.Deep knowledge of UBBL, BOMBA, statutory and local authority procedures & approvals.Experience in handling shop drawings, as-built documentation, material approvals, and statutory submissions.Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.Solid experience in construction supervision, site coordination, and quality control.Familiarity with BIM-based project workflows, with ability to review 3D models and drawings in Revit / Navisworks or equivalent.#J-18808-Ljbffr
