Overview
Drive sales and business development for occupational health and safety products range : Aviation tools, rivets, drills, grinders, abrasives, tapes & adhesives, Personal Protective Equipment (PPEs).
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities to establish & cultivate strong business relationships with customers;
- Manage and expand product range and usage in the assigned territory for sales growth;
- Serve as technical advisor to customers, offering solutions tailored to their specific needs and requirements;
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations, training and presentations to help customers discover and understand products / services and benefits;
- Manage customer relationships throughout the sales process, ensuring customer satisfaction and post-sale support;
- Evaluate client application requirements and provide solutions;
- Responsible for new accounts and new product development as well as maintaining existing customers;
- Conduct regular visits / meetings with customers and attend verbal and written inquiries;
- Meet or exceed established sales targets and KPIs on a consistent basis;
- Monitor market trends, competitor offerings, and industry regulations to stay informed and adjust sales strategies;
- Attend trade shows, industry events and customer meetings to expand the customer base and stay up-to-date with industry trends;
- Prepare & submit quotes, proposals, tenders or any technical documentation including monthly business review reports and other management reports as required.
Job Requirements
Preferably with a Diploma or Degree in Chemical / Mechanical Engineering or related technical fieldAble to speak Bahasa MalaysiaFresh graduates are welcome to apply3 years experience in sales / business development, preferably in the Automotive / Aerospace industries or Electrical and Electronics IndustryExcellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal and sales skillsAbility to explain technical product details and benefits to both technical and non-technical customersHighly motivated and results-oriented with a proven track record of achieving sales targetsA proactive and customer-focused approach with excellent problem-solving skillsAggressive, highly independent and able to work under minimal supervision & self-organizedAny working experience in occupational health & safety would be an advantageJob Benefits
