Equipment Technician -Manufacturing

Job Description Job Summary : onsemi is seeking a highly motivated Manufacturing Equipment Technician to sustain and operate the fab floor, primarily responsible for resolving equipment and process issues. Technician positions are shift roles working a compressed schedule of 12-hour shifts. Responsibilities Essential Responsibilities : Perform, and teach others to perform, preventive maintenance activities. React to error messages from factory systems and / or equipment. Perform, and teach others to perform, visual inspections (quality checks). Recover from process and tool interruptions. Identify and address potential areas for improvement to optimize tool availability, cycle time, utilization, and cost. Complete all required reporting and documentation. Understand and follow all health, safety, and environmental procedures and requirements. Participate actively in continuous improvement processes, learning, and skills development. Work effectively as part of a team, train new team members as needed, and perform other duties as assigned. Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner, supporting all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs.
