Division overview

The PlayStation Studios : Creative team is an award winning, global internal creative agency within PlayStation Studios. We endeavour to build a working environment where we can flourish and create industry leading work. Structured around 2 teams; Brand & Strategy and the Creative Studio, comprising of four core disciplines; Design & illustration, UI / UX, Motion & 3D, Film and Video. We deliver projects in collaboration with our game development and marketing / PR teams.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior User Researcher to join our internal research team in Malaysia studio. This role will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering impactful user research to shape the future of our games.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to identify research needs and define plans.
• Conduct usability tests, analyze findings, and present clear insights.
• Support process improvements and research planning.
• Mentor junior researchers and champion user advocacy.
• Communicate findings across departments and influence design outcomes.
