Project Engineer (Electrical / Solar PV Designer – GCPV)

Job descriptionConduct site surveys and design electrical circuits, switchboards, and cable routing plans. Liaise with local authorities (ST, SEDA, TNB, Telekom, JKR, etc.) to obtain design and project approvals. Support project planning, site supervision, and installation coordination . Collaborate with Sales, Project, and Licensing teams to ensure timely project completion. Communicate with clients on technical specifications and project requirements. Conduct project meetings with team members, subcontractors, and clients. Ensure all technical designs comply with local regulations, standards, and safety requirements . Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Registered with BEM or eligible for registration (preferred). SEDA Malaysia GCPV Design Certificate is an advantage. Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical or solar project engineering. Proficient in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope , and Microsoft Office tools. Familiar with industry standards (API, ISO, MSS, ASTM, DIN). Excellent communication skills in English and Malay . Strong problem-solving, analytical, and leadership skills. Own transport and willing to travel within and outside Klang Valley.

Working Days / Hours : Monday – Friday | Normal Working Hours
Industry : Electrical & Renewable Energy Engineering
Employment Type : Permanent (Not under Agency)
About the Role
This role involves tendering, design, and technical support for electrical and solar PV system projects across industrial, commercial, and residential sectors. You will work closely with project teams to ensure all designs and installations are safe, compliant, and delivered on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and submit designs, calculations, drawings, costing, BOQ, tender documents, and O&M manuals in line with project requirements.
- Design Solar PV Systems (>
72kW) using AutoCAD, PVSyst, and Helioscope .
