A leading global logistics organization is seeking an experienced and strategic leader to oversee its customs compliance operations across Malaysia. Based in Kuala Lumpur, this role will lead a team to ensure smooth execution of customs-related activities in alignment with both local regulations and the companys global standards. The successful candidate will drive service excellence, regulatory compliance, and continuous process improvements across all branch operations nationwide. The Challenges

Leading and developing a national customs compliance team to ensure efficient, compliant, and customer-focused operations. Managing the end-to-end customs clearance process, ensuring adherence to local regulations and internal standards. Serving as the key liaison with customs authorities, internal stakeholders, and external clients to ensure alignment and timely issue resolution. Driving operational efficiency and risk mitigation by implementing data-driven process improvements and performance monitoring. Overseeing performance metrics, coaching team members, and promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. What It Takes

Bachelors degree in Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding, including 5 years in a leadership role with customs compliance responsibilities. Strong working knowledge of Malaysian customs laws and regulatory requirements. Proven track record of managing teams and delivering operational improvements.
