Job descriptionBachelor's Degree in Quality Engineering, Mechanical / Electrical Engineering, or related field. Minimum 2–4 years in a manufacturing QA environment, preferably in electronics, plastic, or grooming product industry. Familiar with ISO 9001, 8D, 5Why, FMEA, and other quality tools. Able to read technical drawings and use measurement instruments (calipers, gauges, etc.). Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is a plus). Lead and facilitate a team of Quality supervisors and inspectors to ensure full compliance of production / assembly processes and ensure proper final quality inspection procedures are followed as per established QA sampling plans. Participate in the proper and accurate analysis of any product related abnormalities and failure that effects functional as well as cosmetics characteristics of the products. Lead in the application and use of 8D corrective action reports both internally and externally to address product failures as when required. Facilitate the application of SPC, FMEA, QC Tools, Process Control Plan and CPK trend / studies to ensure excellent process and product quality compliance. Provide timely, fast and focused response on all internal product abnormal quality triggers as well external customer quality escalations. Work closely with all relevant internal teams, suppliers and customers on continuous quality improvement in terms of lower parts defectives ppm rates and outgoing lot rejection rates. Interface and communicate effectively with customers to ensure all product and process related issues are resolved timely so as to achieve full closure and resolution. Support and facilitate all ISO related system or process audits that may be scheduled accordingly on a periodic basis, both internally as well as externally. Organize and compile all necessary quality related information and statistical data as and when required in order to facilitate better product quality analysis and improvements. To liase with customer on project & quality related matter. Respond to customer complaint & lead team in problem solving & quality improvement plan. Any other assignments deemed necessary by the Management. Candidate must possess at least Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent Bachelor's Degree or Diploma with year of experiences. Candidate must possess minimum three (3) years of relevant work experiences or closely related manufacturing environment. Proven exposure and capacity to participate in ISO related system, processes and operation compliance audits activities. Must have excellent communication, customer and people interaction leadership skills. Ability to adapt effectively and be flexible to local environment work culture conditions. Matured and possess good conceptual problem-solving approach through the application of rational quality control / assurance - making skills. Have a knowledge to use QA Equipment (Smart Scope, Measuring Scope). Knowledge and experiences in QA / QC, ISO and TS16949 (Automotive) is added advantage. Willing to work in Sungai Petani, Kedah. Conduct research to develop new products or improve existing ones. Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure food safety and product quality. Conduct regular inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. Investigate and resolve quality issues, non-conformances, and customer complaints related to product quality. Maintain documentation related to quality assurance activities. Implement and maintain hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations (e.g., HACCP). Must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor in Food Technology or a related field Relevant work experience in quality control and research & development in the food manufacturing industry. Strong formulation / product formulation skill is required . Knowledge of relevant food manufacturing standards and certifications (e.g., HACCP, GMP, ISO, HALAL etc.) is preferred. Developing and implementing quality control systems and processes to monitor and improve product quality Leading a team of quality assurance personnel and overseeing their daily activities Analysing quality data and production metrics to identify areas for improvement Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve quality-related issues Ensuring compliance with relevant quality standards, industry regulations and internal policies Providing training and guidance to production staff on quality best practices Continuously exploring new quality assurance methodologies to enhance the company's operations A minimum of 5 years' experience in a quality assurance or quality control role, preferably in the manufacturing, pharmaceuticals or traditional medicine Strong understanding of quality management systems, statistical process control, and root cause analysis techniques Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking and decision-making skills Proficient in using quality assurance software and data analysis tools Ability to lead and motivate a team of quality assurance professionals Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders Knowledge of relevant quality standards and regulations (e.g. ISO 9001, PICs GMP, Halal) Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent. Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in QAQC within the construction industry (experience in landed residential / housing projects is an advantage). Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and quality requirements. Hands-on experience in site inspections, material testing, and quality control documentation. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic project management software. Able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as in a team environment. To implement and monitor the compliance on all policies, activities, procedures and instructions which are relevant and required by ISO 9001 standard as well as Quality, Safety, Health and Environment (QSHE) management system. To support and provide guidance to project team on ISO 9001 and QAQC matters. To verify and review contractor's Project Quality Safety Health and Environment Plan (PQSHEP) and monitor the implementation of the approved PQSHEP. To monitor the routine project's quality assessment and inspection and its records compliance. To monitor and verify the implementation of suitable correction, corrective and preventive actions of the system. To coordinate and liaise with project team in preparation for routine QSHE assessment, QLASSIC assessment and VP inspection of the project. To coordinate with ISO Internal Audit Team on audit process. To carry out any other duties as and when instructed by the Management from time to time.
