Responsible to collect, validate, reconcile the information, and update the records related to CAPEX‑Investments. Monitor the status and follow‑up for delivery of quality and timely reporting with Fleet Upgrade department. Validate and analyse actual expenditure against budget and update the status.

Responsibilities
Monthly Closing Reporting for a scope of capex‑investmentCheck and validate actual spending against and committed Purchase Order and budget
Follow‑up any pending Purchase Orders with Fleet Upgrade dept and ensure closureReclassify the Purchase Orders for wrong allocation and accounting treatmentsInvoicing – prepare the status related to the Capex‑investments for invoicing to Vessel OwnerMonitoring the CAPEX projectsProducing project review analysisContributing to the design and production of KPI dashboardsCoordination with Fleet Upgrade DepartmentRegularly review the dashboards (committed versus budget) with the project manager
Support and challenge the operational in the budgeting of projectsInteract daily with operational to understand projects and anticipate financial impactsRequirements
Degree holder in Accountancy / Finance / Business Control or equivalent with holder of a recognised professional qualification - ACCA / CIMA / CPA qualifiedMinimum 4‑5 years relevant solid working experience, with 2 to 3 years in business control is preferred. Those with external audit experience or from commercial accounting / manufacturing / retail large / medium organisation would be an advantageComputer literate and competent in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power point)Proficiency in accounting applications (preferably SAP)Have fair knowledge in IT / Business Intelligence to be able to introduce process improvements / efficiencyAble to think creatively and analytically with positive working attitude and is self‑starter and enablerStrong interpersonal and communication skills (both English written and verbal) in order to deal effectively with both internal and external partiesDedicated, meticulous with strong analytical skillsPossess good working attitude, problem solving skills, able to work independently and manage well under pressureSeniority level
