Role Overview :
The Legal Assistant will play a vital role in supporting the legal department by ensuring the highest level of protection for the company’s legal interests. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a solid understanding of legal processes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and finalizing contracts, ensuring compliance with legal standards and company policies.
- Handle the registration, monitoring, and management of trademarks, including conducting preliminary searches and filing applications.
- Ensure timely renewals and responses to trademark office actions, maintaining the company’s trademark portfolio.
- Conduct research on relevant laws, regulations, and industry practices to support the legal team’s work on contracts, IP, and copyright matters.
- Support case development by maintaining communication with involved parties, scheduling depositions, preparing legal documents (summonses, subpoenas, complaints), handling discovery requests and responses, and generating status reports.
- Ensure all legal records are kept up to date and filed correctly, both physically and digitally.
Qualifications :
At least Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Law or equivalent.At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.Strong knowledge of contract law, intellectual property, and copyright protection.Working experience in law firms will be an added advantage.Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Staff Benefit :
