Associate Manager, Sales Account Management

This role is responsible for driving sustainable and profitable growth in the North region by managing distributor relationships, executing route-to-market strategies, and ensuring effective sales and trade marketing execution. The position plays a key role in aligning distributor performance with company goals, enhancing market coverage, and delivering strong sales results.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Distributor Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong partnerships with distributors, serving as the main point of contact and ensuring alignment with company goals. Negotiate trade terms and service agreements to optimize performance.
• Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Track distributor KPIs (e.g., sales volume, stock levels, service quality), conduct performance reviews, and implement corrective actions or incentives to meet targets.
• Route-to-Market (RTM) Strategy Execution : Collaborate with RTM teams to enhance market coverage and product availability. Identify distribution gaps and develop strategies to improve reach and service levels.
• Sales & Distribution Planning : Work with sales teams to align distribution plans with market demand. Support inventory management and forecasting to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Market Analysis & Insights : Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer behavior. Provide actionable insights to internal teams to refine strategies and improve distributor performance.
• Promotion & Campaign Execution : Ensure effective execution of trade promotions and retail campaigns by distributors. Monitor campaign impact and adjust strategies as needed.
• Compliance & Reporting : Ensure distributor compliance with legal, financial, and quality standards. Provide regular performance reports and conduct audits to identify improvement areas.
• Training & Development : Lead training initiatives for distributor teams on product knowledge, sales techniques, and operational best practices. Conduct regular updates and knowledge-sharing sessions.
