Description
The Corp Comms Specialist is focused in the corporate communications, marketing communications, PR and website communications (%) functions but will still be involved in the other areas listed to varying degrees (%) :
The Corp Comms Specialist researches, collects and collates the relevant information, writes, liaises with third parties (internal and external), develops the thematic concepts, follows up with the production, delivery, distribution and broadcast of :
Corporate Communications (such as speeches, corporate reports and writeups, quarterly newsletters, monthly online newsletters, corporate profile slides, corporate boilerplates, announcements on corporate awards and developments);
Marketing Communications materials (such as brochures, presentation templates). Preparation of marketing collateral includes sourcing for local talent, ensuring that the agency complies with corporate standards for the collateral layout, proof reading, coordinating with personnel in various business units and external parties (partners) to obtain the relevant information within the deadline set.
Advertisements (such as corporate adverts, outdoor signages, achievement adverts, directory adverts, product and corporate posters). Media booking and scheduling, negotiation of rates for advertisements, solicitation of and invoice preparation for the sponsors are also part of the tasks done.
Public Relations
The Corp Comms Specialist writes press releases, organises, coordinates and ensures the smooth running of Media Conferences, Media Interviews and Media Events. The role also monitors all press articles and ensures that the articles are uploaded to the CSA web site and broadcasted to all staff. Media relations activities are also included in the role.
CSA Web Site Content Management :
Ensures that the CSA website's contents are up-to-date, interesting and communicates the CSA corporate messages. Regularly updates the latest information such as corporate profile, press releases, press articles, newsletters, annual reports, awards, milestones, partners’ logos into the website.
Event Management
Manages the entire process of organising and producing events within a stipulated budget. Tasks include the collection and collation of the necessary information, coordination and monitoring of resources from involved parties (internal and external), assisting in the development of the event theme and visual concepts.
The role also follows up with the suppliers on the production, delivery, distribution of event collateral and premium items, database management and the smooth running of the event on the event day) and the broadcast of event details to the target audience.
Marketing Dept. Intranet Content Updates :
Updates the latest corporate profile presentation slides, corporate logos, presentation templates and other related corporate communications materials.
Report Generation
Report preparation and generation to analyse the effectiveness of corporate communication programs executed.
