Responsibilities
We are looking for Infrastructure Delivery Lead to manage the planning, building and implementation of inbound infrastructure build demand and ultimately responsible for building and provisioning Core infra, app infrastructure as well as driving improvements to optimize the process and drive the adoption Infrastructure As a Service / Platform As a Service (PaaS). This role functionally reports to the Service Build Engineering Lead under Group Infrastructure Platform Services, the Infrastructure delivery Lead will be accountable for the team and related resources for an area within our Infrastructure and Platform Build engineering. This role ensures consistent high service performance and evaluating project stakeholder feedback to drive high stakeholder satisfaction and improve time-to-market
As an infrastructure delivery lead, you will be responsible for
- Managing the initiative, engaging, and working with key business partners and driving to successful oues within a given timeline
- Primary focus on planning, execution and delivery of infrastructure and platform project initiatives
- Ensuring that realistic project and quality plans are prepared and maintained and provides regular and accurate reports to stakeholders as appropriate
- Engaging infrastructure dependency teams such as networks, storage, cabling, hardware suppliers and server ops to ensure project demand is captured and prioritized
- Lead the Infra and platform build engineers, identify areas of opportunity and continuously iterate and improve the infrastructure build and engineering service
- Lead, develop, and mentor the team to a world-class level, adhering to organizational SLA and KPI requirements
- Configure hardware and software for end users as needed, while creating best-practice documentation and protocols / procedures, then disseminating to the rest of the team
- Be the primary resource that handles the escalation of infrastructure demand from projects, delegating where appropriate, and ensuring proper follow up and resolution
- Support build engineers to troubleshoot Operating system, middleware, platform problems
Job Requirements
Minimum 8 years strong leadership / management skillset with focus on career advancement and development for direct reportsExpert level knowledge ofmonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the banking infrastructure, ITIL processWorking experience in delivering infrastructure build projects with knowledge of infrastructure technologies, best-practicesStrong background in adhering to SLA requirements, and experience mentoring others to reach their SLA goals within a helpdesk environmentStrong background in promptly answering support related email and chats with the utmost project staholeder service and a positive, helpful attitudeAbility to multi-task and manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously, while maintaining a high standard of detailsBe a part of UOB Family
