Four Seasons Hotel and Residences is part of a 65-storey mixed-use tower that will include 242 Four Seasons Private Residences, 27 serviced apartments, a 209-key Four Seasons Hotel and a six- floor of 250,000 square foot luxury retail podium, collectively known as Four Seasons Place Kuala Lumpur. The Hotel introduces several unique dining outlets to the city, including a Cantonese restaurant, lobby and rooftop pool bars, and an all-day dining restaurant with sweeping views of the Petronas Twin Towers. ASSISTANT SECURITY MANAGER

Four Seasons Hotel Kuala Lumpur is looking for an Assistant Security Manager. We are seeking an individual who has a passion for the industry and is keen to grow and build their career with the world's leading brand in luxury, Four Seasons. The Assistant Security Manager reports to the Director of Security / Security Manager and assists the security personnel and all other employees in the safe and orderly administration of the hotel.

Responsibilities

Implementing all policies and procedures regarding security and safety.

Documenting all incidents occurring in the hotel in connection with crime, subversion, potential liabilities and insurance requirements and remain objective, and write comprehensive reports in documenting such activities.

Assisting in the selection, training, scheduling, discipline and direction of security personnel in all aspects of security policies and procedures.

Overseeing all necessary training modules and procedures for security personnel.

Providing protection to important persons when necessary.

Assisting the Security Manager with employee recruitment and performance management.

Rolling calls the security personnel, changing, or adjusting security deployment as per the real-time response.

Taking charge of the Security department in the absence of the Security Manager.

Visiting all areas of responsibility and ensuring the safety of guests and employees.

Controlling budgets for security operations and monitoring expenses.

Recruiting, training and supervising security personnel.

Attending meetings with other managers to determine operational needs.

Planning and coordinating security operations for specific events.

Creating safety plans and strategies to respond to threats.

Directing security personnel to protect exits, entrances and vulnerabilities.

Managing and training other security personnel on how to handle emergencies.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

Excellent communication skills, as well as guest contact and organization skills.

Service passion.

Requires attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Candidates must have previous experience in a similar position in a 5-star hotel or resort.

Candidates must speak read and write Bahasa Malaysia as well as being fluent in English.

Must have the right to work in Malaysia.
