ENGINEER, RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

Description

Participate in Cable Technical Sheet preparation, setting up materials standards, determine product costs and define technical specifications and drawing.

Tasks & Responsibilities

1. Involve in preparation of Cable Technical Sheet, material consumption study, performance analysis, MEL (Material, Electrical, Labor) calculation, etc and ensure project is as scheduled.

2. Set-up procedures and standard operation of equipment and machines, monitor implementation and ensure close adherence.

3. Liaisons with clients on product specifications and requirements.

4. Generate documentation for new product processes to ensure compliance with company’s procedures.

5. Evaluate the methods and progress of current investigations, raw materials / equipment, propose and coordinate corrective and preventive action to reduce wastage and improve process capabilities.

6. Initiate, organize and coordinate new material / product trial run.

7. Provide technical support to production in all process-related problems.

8. Shall be the primary contact between the organization and Certification Body (LPCB, PSB etc) for product approved or any changes purpose (in the absent of R&D Manager).

Education

Degree in any related engineering discipline

Experience

Minimum 3 years working experience in manufacturing environment.Applicants must be computer literate with proficiency in Microsoft Office.Hard working, smart, initiative and show interest in working with cable industry
