IT Business Analyst - SAP PM / QM (Manufacturing & Industry 4.0)

What's the role?

As an IT Business Analyst, you act as the bridge between Business counterparts and Global IT. You will be providing professional advice on incidents and are responsible for transferring business requirements into implementations for solutions. You will contribute to build digital solutions in our application landscape, which combines mobile applications, cloud-based solutions and a backend based on our ERP solutions.

The IT Business Analyst role allows you to own a specific topic of our unique solution stacks, its professional operation, and the transfer of customer needs into new product features. You will transfer new business requirements into value adding and sustainable solutions. You will get to collaborate with the product manager and product owner to define requirements as well as partner with technical staff to develop convincing solution alternatives.

What does the role involve?

As an IT Business Analyst - SAP PM / QM - Manufacturing & Industry 4.0, you will play a crucial role in advancing our vision of smart digital manufacturing. Collaborating closely with our business community, you will define, implement, and optimize new functionalities while enhancing existing ones. Your responsibilities will span across supporting business operations, driving change management, and collaborating with other business analysts, key users, and IT functions. We’re seeking an entrepreneurial mindset, strong analytical abilities to dissect Hilti’s business scenarios, and the agility to design and develop effective solutions.

Leverage your strong analytical skills to map Hilti’s current business scenarios (“as-is”) to the desired future state (“to be”). Design and develop effective solutions that align with our vision. Embrace agility as you adapt to evolving requirements and contribute to our dynamic work environment. Leverage the latest SAP technologies, including SAP S / 4HANA (private and public cloud), SAP ME / DM, and SAP Business ByDesign, to deliver impactful solutions. (Co-) Lead IT initiatives related to plant maintenance, quality, and other relevant areas (SAP PM, QM, PP). What do we offer?

What you need is :

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Information Systems, Computer Science, or in a related field (PhD is a plus)
• 3+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing related environment with S / 4HANA ERP (or R / 3) on modules QM, PM, PP or any related ones
• Strong capabilities to organize your work with agile mindset, self-responsible and result-oriented
• Willingness to work closely with business counterparts and define and drive new solutions
• Entrepreneurial attitude – taking responsibility in understanding topics, owning them and delivering success
• Passion for technology-driven solutions and continuous improvement
• ABAP development skills are advantageous.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written), German is a plus
