Main responsibilities
1. Liaise with Audit Parties for scheduling and monitoring of internal WMP audits and external vendor Audits.
2. Follow up with internal audit findings for close-outs, maintaining data base for trending and analysis
3. Support with crewing related HSEQ tasks
Including in cases of investigations into cases involving seafarer’s grievances
Monitor validity of all certificates (copies) received from the Manning Offices
3. Support department’s digital initiatives including implementation and monitoring
4. Liaise with Seamen's National Unions on Industrial Relations matters as well as source and provide an appropriate union related information's to the functional relations offices.
5. Support and follow-up for timely payments of union dues and statutory remittances towards CBA dictated allowance, including CBA renewals and compliance to IT F special agreements.
6. Support in conducting and analysis of seafarer’s surveys
7. Monitoring data quality in CMS and extracting data for analysis :
For compliance to MLC and ISO 9001 : 2015 standards
For identifying areas of improvement and CMS data management
For improvement in compliance to various tools using for crew management.
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements
1. Diploma or Degree in Labor / Industrial Relations, HR Management or related degree.
2. Knowledge of employment related laws, preferably Maritime laws.
3. Ability to cultivate strong relationships, resolve conflict and influence.
4. High proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
