Requirements

  • Proficient in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (both written and verbal)

Additional Information :

  • Must be willing to work in Klang, Selangor
  • Preferably with experience in Freight Forwarding, Customs Clearance (Forwarding), or a related field
  • Full-time position(s) available
  • Responsibilities

  • Handle daily export and import shipments (ocean and air), including booking, documentation, and related operational tasks
  • Coordinate with terminal operators, slot owners, ocean carriers, co-loaders, truckers, warehouses, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and smooth shipment deliveries to clients
  • Prepare and proofread freight forwarding documents—such as House Bill of Lading, Master Bill of Lading, insurance certificates, and other shipping documents—accurately and on time, according to client requirements
  • Liaise with clients, ocean carriers, co-loaders, and overseas agents to verify and finalize all freight forwarding documentation
  • Customs Clearance documentation and operation handling process. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents required for customs clearance.
  • Monitor shipment departure dates and ensure completion of the full documentation process
  • Send pre-alerts to clients and overseas agents upon shipment departure
  • Manage incoming pre-alerts from overseas agents and coordinate with local vendors, clients, and agents regarding quotations and shipment arrangements
  • Organize and upload all shipping documents and data into internal and external systems as required
  • Utilize Westports and Northport systems to execute shipment processes
  • Escalate critical issues to the reporting manager in a timely manner
  • Prepare and submit monthly reports to internal and external stakeholders
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and handle complaints.
  • Support additional tasks related to shipment clearance as needed
  • Perform any other duties or responsibilities assigned by Management
