Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy to help sales achieve revenue targets
Lead, mentor, and inspire the team, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a high-performance culture.
Building eco-system in this area and Identify new business opportunities, expand Supermicros presence in the region, and drive penetration into new verticals such as cloud, data center, AI, and edge computing.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including business development, marketing, product management, and engineering to ensure customer needs are met and feedback is integrated into future product development.
Monitor market trends and competitor activity, adapting strategies to maintain a competitive edge to support product design team.
Provides technical leadership in Pre-Sales and oversee implementation of such solutions
Visit on-site facilities and operations to enable solution integration and issue resolution
Some travel required (Minimum 35%)
Manage and leads teams during investigation and resolution of problems in the field
Highly technical problem solver who understands system architecture, hardware and software interaction
Has a good understanding of firmware, drivers, OS, Applications and their interaction that can cause system issues

Qualifications :

Bachelors' or Masters' degree in engineering discipline; computer science, computer engineering and electrical engineering preferred

12+ above of related experience with Compute / Storage Server or Data Center or IT Infrastructure experience desired

Excellent communication skills and business sense required

Strong background and experience with x86-based server architecture

Solid HW system design and diagnostics skills

Familiarity with Firmware, Linux, Windows and virtualization platforms is a plus

Strong technical communication and leadership skills to lead investigations with engineers of multiple disciplines

Individual must be able to work effectively in a high pressure environment

Hands-on experience is required in developing standards

Diligent, Self Discipline and able to work under pressure

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive a team towards ambitious goals

Ability to develop strategic sales plans, with a focus on long-term growth and market expansion

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex solutions clearly and persuasively to various stakeholders
