The role – what is it we would like you to do?

Currie & Brown is looking for an in-house recruiter for the APAC region recruitment function, based in Malaysia. The successful candidate will support key hiring managers on day-to-day recruitment activity. He / She should be highly experienced in head hunting, sourcing, selecting, negotiating and recruiting outstanding technical and non-technical candidates.

Your core duties will involve :

• Remaining compliant at all times with our internal recruitment policy and procedures
• Prioritising and understanding recruitment needs for the APAC region
• Liaising with hiring managers, understanding their technical requirements to successfully find the right people and developing key stakeholder relationships
• Partnering with hiring manager's and seeking appropriate levels of approval from senior management throughout the recruitment process
• Being responsible for evaluating skill levels and sourcing appropriate candidates through direct approaches, internal database searches, staff referrals, job postings, social media networking
• Preparing recruitment statistics to be presented to the senior management
• Managing candidate progress and liaising directly with candidates to provide relevant feedback and updates
