Core Responsibilities :

• Read, interpret and follow blueprints, diagrams, engine manuals, OEM SPM’s, specifications, bills of materials, and other written instructions or procedures to meet job specifications.
• Set up tooling, fixture and operate CNC Turning / Milling machines.
• Check and ensure work piece datum points are properly identified and located on the fixture or chuck.
• Align fixtures and cutting tools.
• Set specified rotation speed, feed, coolant flow, and depth and angle of cut.
• Machine part while monitoring cutting action of machine to detect excessive wear or malfunction.
• Use indicators, vernier calipers, micrometers and gauges to check work and verify conformance of finished part to specifications.
• Ensure all jobs are completed within the scheduled time.
• Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
• Perform on machine dimension inspection as required.
• Perform TPM’S.
• Assist and interact with other department and engineering personnel during the course of duties.
• Able to perform simple programming and troubleshooting when problem arise.
• Report to management in the event of non-conformance of components.
• Comply with all company and safety rules and regulations during course of duties.
• Report non-conformance of parts, paper work, equipment, tooling or materials to the immediate supervisor.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area such as 6S, sort, label, and store tooling / equipment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
