Job Description & Summary
A career in our Indirect Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever‑changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions. Our team helps our clients optimise cash flow and reduce risk by managing challenges related to indirect taxes. You’ll support our clients with all aspects of indirect taxation related to global, regional and domestic projects as well as comprehensive restructuring and reporting value‑added tax projects.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on indirect tax issues, including VAT, SST, customs duties, and other related taxes.
- Conduct thorough tax compliance and indirect tax return preparations.
- Identify and assess indirect tax risks and opportunities for clients.
- Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and capitalize on savings opportunities.
- Supervision of day‑to‑day administration of a client portfolio.
- Carry out SST research and preparation of SST reports / advices.
- Use feedback and reflection to develop self‑awareness, personal strengths and address development areas.
- Delegate to others to provide stretch opportunities, coaching them to deliver results.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.
- Use a broad range of tools and techniques to extract insights from current industry or sector trends.
- Review your work and that of others for quality, accuracy and relevance.
- Know how and when to use tools available for a given situation and can explain the reasons for this choice.

Requirements
A recognised degree in Economics, Finance or related subjects or professional accounting qualification.At least 2–3 years’ track record of SST related working experience.Working experience in SST implementation work would be an added advantage.Proficiency in written and spoken English and Malay languages.Well organised, able to multitask and prioritise assignments.Seniority Level
