Job Summary

Responsible for process & material development related to the Si Battery Assembly & Packaging operations, defining and qualifying new processes, overseeing builds, performing root cause analysis, understanding test data and safety performance, analyzing cycle time and yields, effectively communicating the results and transferring process to production.

Responsibilities

Manage and own at least 2 process developments, ensuring >

90% yield.

Understand design trade-offs and machine capabilities.

Communicate engineering solutions and compile reports.

Implement processes across pilot and high-volume lines.

Resolve daily production issues and work in agile hours.

Participate in cost-saving engineering projects.

Lead cross-functional teams for next-generation cell design development.

Decide on cell components for performance and reliability.

Design experiments based on DOE methodologies.

Analyze performance metrics using data analysis tools.

Develop SPC and establish Process Capability (Cpk).

Perform FMEA and root cause analysis.

Manage project plans and ensure timely completion.

Communicate results effectively to stakeholders.

Maintain Work Instructions, FMEA, Control Plans, and OCAP documents.

Participate in environmental management and compliance activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in relevant engineering or sciences; 10+ years experience or advanced degrees preferred.

Proficient in analyzing process data and technical program management.

Willing to travel as needed.

Independent, team-oriented, and problem-solving skills.

Knowledge of SPC, DOE, FMEA, 8D methodologies.

Experience in Li-Ion batteries is highly desired.

Strong attention to detail and innovative thinking.

Additional Information
