We are seeking for an experienced Chemist to join our dynamic team at Nanoc Ventures Sdn Bhd in our Semenyih Factory. As a chemist, you will play a stronger role in supporting the team to meet the client’s expectation and requirements. This is a full-time position that offers opportunities for growth and development within our organization.
Minimum Experience : 2 - 3 years
Salary Range : MYR2,200 – MYR2,500
Responsibilities
- Initiate and carry out testing and development work of new product formulations based on technological input from client in order to meet customer / market requirement.
- Implement investigation and lab testing / technical support to all customer complaints to ensure customers' needs and expectation have been fulfilled.
- Prepare Certificate of Analysis (COA) that meets customer specified requirements.
- Perform basic trouble‑shooting for common problems with some supervision.
- Perform basic calibration and preventative maintenance duties as assigned with some supervision.
- Learn to effectively multi‑task to enable flexibility in delivery of required work outputs.
- Guide and discussed together Lab Team in the discharge of his / her duties in daily QC / QA operation to ensure meeting specification requirements.
- Coordinate with person‑in‑charge on monthly disposal of laboratory scheduled waste.
- Coordinate special requests and compliance testing with external testing labs service.
- To report any hazard / risk, near‑miss and incident with the management.
- Ensure laboratory data, test results, and related documentation are accurately recorded, maintained, and filed in accordance with company procedures and quality standards.
- Perform other duties as and when required by the immediate superior and management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or equivalent field.Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in the relevant analytical laboratory with the right and positive attitude.Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply as well.Good personality, independent and a good team player.Able to understand the required test standard / procedures.Good communication and written skills in English and / or local language.Good interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.#J-18808-Ljbffr
