Job descriptionDiploma or degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or related field. At least 2-3 years of relevant work experience. Proven experience in pre-sales or technical roles within the IT industry. Familiarity with IT products and services such as infrastructure, networking, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. Experience in systems engineering or technical consulting; SQL knowledge is a plus. Excellent presentation skills and ability to convey technical information clearly to non-technical audiences. Good command of English and Malay, both written and spoken.
This job involves assisting businesses with IT solutions! You will interact with customers, stay updated on tech trends, and collaborate with teams to create customized proposals. The role focuses on problem-solving and innovation.
The IT Presales / Technical Engineer is responsible for understanding, articulating, and delivering IT solutions that meet both technical and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Stay informed about industry standards, trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the IT sector.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers, understanding their business challenges and objectives.
- Collaborate with Sales and Support teams to analyze customer needs and propose suitable solutions.
- Manage multiple customer profiles, prepare and review proposals, and create technical documentation for follow-up.
- Work with internal and external parties to improve the quality of solution proposals.
- Perform any other projects assigned by management as needed.
