As a Senior Regulatory Specialist, you will manage and work toward the accomplishment of the Malaysia and Southeast Asia business goals and objectives within the regulatory team. Your responsibilities will include : Establishing, writing, and building registration dossiers in line with Malaysia PB requirements to support new product registrations and renewals. Providing regulatory expertise and insights to enhance product line performance and ensure compliance with applicable pesticide laws. Supporting regulatory affairs activities in other Southeast Asian countries as needed. Working with cross-functional teams to manage all regulatory needs for a portfolio of ingredients and products that support Nufarm’s sales. Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with key regulatory bodies, stakeholders, and industry trade associations. Ensuring timely registrations to grow the Malaysia business unit and prevent business disruptions due to regulatory issues. Managing and maintaining the registration database. Supporting the commercial and marketing groups by providing necessary product information and services. Working across business functions to ensure understanding and alignment on key activities for business continuity. Could This Be You?
We are seeking a highly motivated professional with strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities who can drive regulatory excellence. Mandatory
A tertiary qualification in Agricultural Science, Plant / Biology, Biotechnology, or another relevant scientific discipline. Significant experience in the crop protection industry, particularly in Malaysia pesticide registration. Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency in working independently and as a team player 4-5 years' experience in the relevant field Demonstrated experience in a regulatory affairs role Superior interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with all levels of internal and external customers. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Experience in chemical regulatory affairs, agriculture, chemistry, toxicology, weed science, agronomy, plant pathology, entomology, environmental chemistry, or plant biochemistry If you’re naturally curious and enjoy tackling a variety of tasks while continuously learning new things, you’ll fit right in.
