Job Responsibilities :
Quality Assurance & Control
Implement and monitor the project Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with contract specifications, drawings, and standards.
- Ensure compliance with relevant JKR, ISO, and client requirements.
- Prepare and update Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, and QA / QC procedures.
Inspection & Testing
Conduct site inspections for civil, structural, and roadworks to ensure quality workmanship.
Coordinate material testing, including concrete, asphalt, aggregates, and soil tests.Monitor third-party laboratory results and ensure compliance with specifications.Documentation & Reporting
Maintain quality records including test reports, NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports), and corrective action plans.
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly QAQC reports for submission to management and client.Ensure all quality documentation is properly controlled and archived.Coordination & Communication
Liaise with consultants, client representatives, subcontractors, and site teams on QA / QC matters.
Provide technical guidance and support to site engineers and supervisors regarding quality standards.Conduct toolbox talks and training sessions on quality requirements.Continuous Improvement & Safety
Identify quality-related issues and recommend corrective / preventive actions.
Support the project team in achieving zero-defect works and timely approvals.Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards related to QAQC activities.Job Requirements :
Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field.Minimum 3–5 years of QAQC experience, preferably in roadworks / highway / infrastructure projects.Familiar with JKR specifications, MS & ASTM standards, and ISO 9001 QMS.Strong knowledge in material testing, quality control procedures, and documentation.Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of QAQC software is an advantage.Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to work under pressure at site.
