Location : Bangsar South, KL

Working arrangement, Hybrid, 3 days WFH, Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm

Job Overview :

The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of SharePoint environments in a hybrid model. This role requires a strong understanding of SharePoint architecture as well as hands-on experience in managing SharePoint online and on-premises solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in optimizing collaboration and communication across the organization.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Administer and support both SharePoint Online and SharePoint On-Premises environments to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Configure sites, libraries, lists, and workflows based on user requirements.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect data and user access within SharePoint.
  • Monitor SharePoint performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure smooth operation.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for SharePoint processes, configurations, and administration guidelines.
  • Work with stakeholders to gather requirements for SharePoint solutions and provide support for user training and troubleshooting.
  • Stay current with SharePoint updates, features, and best practices to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to integrate SharePoint with other applications and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a SharePoint Administrator , with both SharePoint Online and On-Premises.
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and administration.
  • Experience with PowerShell for SharePoint automation and scripting tasks.
  • Knowledge of SharePoint security architecture, groups, roles, and permissions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications and integration with SharePoint is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
