We are partnering with The Solar House Sdn. Bhd. (TSH), a Malaysian company specializing in providing comprehensive solar photovoltaic (PV) services, including consultancy, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of solar PV systems.
The Senior Site Supervisor will lead the execution of solar PV system installations across residential, commercial, and industrial projects. This role involves supervising and coordinating site-level operations to ensure timely delivery, safety compliance, and quality assurance through efficient resource management and team leadership. The Senior Site Supervisor will provide hands-on leadership to installation teams, ensuring alignment with engineering standards and client expectation.
Responsibilities
- Implement project timelines and align site activities with the company’s growth and delivery goals.
- Monitor KPIs such as cost, time, quality and resource utilization.
- Promote HSE standards and sustainability values across all project sites.
- Lead problem-solving initiatives and technical improvements.
- Contribute to the strategic planning of resource allocation across projects.
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring installation commissioning follow engineering and safety specifications.
- Supervise site teams including subcontractors and vendors.
- Conduct regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Manage site inventory, tools and logistics.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site documentation and photo logs.
- Act as the site liaison with clients and consultants during execution.
- Supervise technicians, junior supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Provide mentorship and on-the-job training.
- Uphold the company’s culture, safety, and performance standards.
- Interface with internal teams including, engineering, project management and procurement.
Qualifications
Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Construction Management or related disciplines.CIDB certification or equivalent preferred.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in site supervision for electrical or solar projects.Familiar with PV design and monitoring tools (e.g. PVsyst, SolarEdge Monitoring).Proficient in Microsoft Office and site reporting apps (e.g. Fieldwire, PlanGrid)Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and electrical layout interpretation.Expertise in interpreting electrical drawings and technical specs.Strong grounding in solar PV installations techniques and best practices.Knowledge of building codes, SEDA / MEDA guidelines, and TNB procedures.Proven ability to lead installation teams and deliver large-scale projects.Experience in rooftop and ground-mounted PV systems.Familiarity with local electrical regulations and solar permitting processes.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
